Kristine 'Krissy' Cook of Charleston Hardee's was named our SHINING STAR for second quarter 2021! Former Charleston General Manager (now GM of Hardee's Athens, White Street) Lynn Roberts stated "Kristine has worked for Hardee's for a little over a year. She has grown tremendously, both personally and at work. She always comes to work with a smile on her face and a positive attitude. She always tries to uplift the entire crew. When I first met Krissy, she had only worked at Hardee's a few months and was still learning the ropes. She was like the tin man (woman) from Wizard of Oz, just going through the motions. She met me with an open mind to any suggestions and procedure changes. Now her first objective is to make sure the customer is getting the sandwich they requested, and ensuring that it is made correctly, the way the customer requested. Although she is mainly  a backline lunch person, she has been known to greet customers when cashiers are busy and she is not. Krissy is a key player in lunch set up and change over from breakfast to lunch; this is a huge help for management. She is very attentive to the time and makes sure that not only her backline area is ready, but will also assist the front end people with their stocking and ice cream cups so that everyone is ready for eleven am. After the lunch rush, she will start prep. Most of the time she has her list ready to go beforehand. If not much prep is needed, she will find other projects to complete, for example the grill hoods. She has also been seen cleaning the ovens as well. Krissy is versatile in all positions of the restaurant. Should she see anyone struggling, she will not hesitate to help without even being asked. She is no longer that tin woman I met a year ago; she lets her heart show, and she puts it out there the entire shift. Krissy is nothing but a pleasure to have on the shift (this is unanimous among the management team). I want the rest of Hardee's to know Kristine Cook the way we do here at Charleston Hardee's.
